Content and Instructional Design
From content to competence, through real-world learning.
I design learning experiences that meet people where they are—whether they’re gaining a new skill, navigating complexity, or preparing for real-world challenges. My work bridges information design and behavior change, with a focus on clarity, motivation, and measurable outcomes.

Problems I solve
I zero in on situations where people feel overwhelmed by the rate of technological change. I help organizations transform scattered content into structured, engaging experiences that actually support performance. Whether it’s simplifying technical material or supporting behavior change, I design with learners—and outcomes—in mind.
Core skills
I create curricula, courses, and learning assets that are grounded in instructional strategy and informed by UX. My strengths include content architecture, scenario-based learning, microlearning design. I also bring strong visual and interaction design instincts to digital training environments. I plan for remote, blended, and live instruction.
Tools I use
II use authoring tools like Articulate Rise and Storyline, and collaborative platforms like FigJam, Miro, Padlet, and Airtable for planning. I apply frameworks like ADDIE and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to shape accessible, learner-centered content and evaluation plans.
The Starter League, now part of Fullstack Academy, was a groundbreaking immersive bootcamp in Chicago that taught students to design and code their own digital products. I created the 10-week UX Design curriculum and was the live instructor for it for 3 years.
